These rules and regulations govern participation in all Endurophoria events.
By registering, every participant agrees to comply with the rules listed below,
along with any instructions issued by race officials.
ℹ️ General Information
• Event dates, venues, routes, and schedules are subject to change at the discretion of the organisers.
• Participants must ensure that all registration details provided are complete, accurate, and truthful.
• The organisers reserve the right to modify the event format, schedule, or any aspect of the event, if required.
The decision of the organisers and race officials will be final in all matters of safety, eligibility, and race conduct
• Health & Bike Check – March 28, 2026:
– Health and bike checks will be conducted in pre-allotted time slots.
– Participation is subject to clearance in both medical and bike inspection rounds.
– Cycles must strictly comply with the prescribed eligibility norms.
– Participants failing the bike inspection will not be permitted to race, and no refund will be issued.
– If a participant is deemed unfit during the medical examination, a full refund will be provided.
• Finisher Benefits & Awards:
– Event T-shirts and finisher medals will be awarded only to participants who successfully complete the main MTB race.
– CRIT race participants will not receive finisher T-shirts or finisher medals.
– Only podium finishers in the CRIT race categories will be awarded medals.
• It is the sole responsibility of the participant to read, understand, and comply with all event rules and regulations.

🚲 MTB Race (Open Category) Specific Rules & Regulations
MTB Race
A fast, endurance-focused MTB race over ~30 km of predominantly flat terrain.
📍 Route
Manipur University → Thoubal Mela Ground (U-Turn) → Manipur University
Out-and-back course on mostly flat roads
Route markings and marshals will be in place
This category is open to both Amateur and Professional riders and is designed to reward speed, pacing, and race strategy over sustained efforts.

Eligible Bicycles

Tyre width: Minimum 1.9 inches (no maximum limit)
Wheel size: Minimum 26 inches
Tyres must be MTB-specific with visible tread
Road bike tyres, slick tyres, and cyclocross tyres are not permitted
ℹ️ All bicycles must be human-powered and in safe, race-ready condition.

Fast-paced criterium racing on a closed circuit, focused on speed, handling, and tactics.

🚲 MTB Race Mens 40+ Specific Rules & Regulations
MTB Race Mens 40+
A fast, endurance-focused MTB race over ~30 km of predominantly flat terrain.
👤 Age Requirement & Verification:
Only riders who have completed 40 years of age as on 21 February 2026 are eligible (Rider must be born on or before 21 February 1986).
Age verification will be conducted during the mandatory health check. Failure to meet eligibility criteria will result in disqualification with no refund.

No minimum or maximum tyre width specified
Any standard adult wheel size is permitted, subject to safety clearance

A relaxed, non-competitive ride celebrating cycling, creativity, and community.
Open to riders of all backgrounds and experience levels.

Manipur University → Waithou (near Coffee Culture – U-Turn) → Manipur University
Smooth, easy-paced out-and-back route
Marshals and route markers will be provided

🚲 Bicycle and Equipment Rules
• Only permitted bicycles allowed per category.
• All bikes must be human-powered.
• Helmets are mandatory.
• Organisers may inspect bicycles before race start.

• Mandatory medical check before race day.
• Riders deemed medically unfit will not be allowed to start.
• First aid and emergency services will be available on course.

🚫 Penalties & Disqualifications
• Rule violations may result in time penalties or disqualification.
• Tampering, external assistance, or cheating is prohibited.
• No refunds for disqualified riders.
🌧️Weather & Force Majeure
• Events may be delayed, modified, or cancelled due to weather.
• Natural disasters, government orders, or safety concerns apply.
• Refunds (if any) are at organisers’ discretion.
⚠️Liability & Disclaimer
• Participation is at the rider’s own risk.
• Organisers are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage.
• Riders must have personal insurance where applicable.
📸 Media & Privacy
• Event photos and videos may be used for promotion.
• By registering, riders consent to media usage.
• Personal data is handled as per privacy policy.
🧾Dispute Resolution
• All disputes shall be resolved by the organising committee.
• Decisions taken on race day are final and binding.
• Legal jurisdiction shall be Imphal, Manipur.
🔄Category Change Policy
Category changes will not be permitted after registration closure.
Participants are responsible for selecting the correct category at the time
of registration.
🏳️Protest & Dispute Resolution Policy
Any protest or dispute regarding race results, rule interpretation,
classification, or competitor conduct must be submitted formally.
• Protests must be submitted in writing within 30 minutes of the official
provisional results being published.
• Late protests will not be entertained under any circumstances.
• Protest Fee: ₹2,000 (Refundable)
• The fee will be refunded only if the protest is found to be valid and upheld
by the Race Jury / Organising Committee.
• If the protest is rejected, the fee will be forfeited.
• All protests will be reviewed by the appointed Race Jury / Organising Committee.
• The decision of the Race Jury shall be final and binding.
• No further appeals will be entertained.
Scope
Protests will be considered only for:
• Rule violations
• Incorrect results or timing errors
• Course deviations
• Unsporting or dangerous conduct
Protests based on personal opinion, dissatisfaction, or unverified claims
will not be entertained.
This policy exists to ensure fairness, transparency, and respect for all
participants while maintaining smooth event operations.
